Hopefully by now everyone will have noticed that the summer climbing restrictions at Cheddar Gorge are in place (as of the 1st of July).
This means that all of the climbing areas on the south side (RHS going up the gorge) are closed until the 1st of September – no excuses!
Please make sure that we do not break these rules as they are there for a reason and whether or not you agree with them, the climbing on the restricted areas will certainly sensitise the access agreement.
We are all part of one big team and we have all enjoyed climbing at Cheddar, or may like to the future. With this in mind please take the time to inform others (when safe to do so) of the restrictions, if you find them climbing on the South side during this time (until the 1st September).
